Is Phoebe Tonkin a ‘Mortal Instruments’ fan?

Looks like we’ll find out soon. The ‘Secret Circle’ actress is just beginning to read the series. Could she be doing some research, perhaps? 

While there is no evidence to suggest that Tonkin has auditioned, casting for all characters is underway. While she isn’t British she does have an accent (hailing from Australia), which seems to be one of the requirements for actors portraying Shadowhunters, as described in a casting notice.

(Who else loved that she hashtagged Earl Grey tea in the tweet?)
